Premier’s history
dates back to 1949, when the first spinning mill was set
up in Pulankinar, 50 kms from the city of Coimbatore in
South India. Over the last 6 decades, Premier has grown
into a large textile conglomerate encompassing spinning,
weaving, dyeing and finishing, garments and home textiles.
With an annual turnover of US $ 200 million,
Premier exports to over 50 different countries worldwide.
Its customers include several leading brands across the
globe.
Premier comprises of 11 manufacturing units which are
equipped with the state-of-the-art technology. Our technical
excellence enables the transformation of design concepts
into top of the line products for some of the leading
brands in the world.
We are a Supima licensee, offering cotton
fabrics made from the finest of American cotton and products
made with Egyptian and superfine Indian cottons. Our products
carry the prestigious Oekotex Certification
for use of eco-friendly chemicals and dyes.
